It was about four weeks into dating my now husband when I asked him, "Why do you always have champagne in your house?". He looked at me in a way I had never been looked at in my life and said, "Because every day feels a celebration when I am with you."

This became a way of life for us. Years later, we find ourselves buying bottles of bubbles on a whim for the little joys: a weekend with no plans, the closing of a trying week, the thankfulness for having a (very cool) roof over our heads. This purposeful insertion of positive perspective makes life incredibly joyous and inspires me to share it with others.

With the unpredictability of the world and the ever-changing status quo, hearts and minds benefit from maintaining some kind of consistency. Why not make the choice of celebration your daily default?
