RTR to Amazon: Outfit Recreations | December
It is finally cold enough in Charlotte that I can order all the long sleeve dresses, sweaters, and layering options I have been eyeing all season in the Rent the Runway app. Winter is my time to shine style-wise, and what a way to kick it off with these three looks that can also be recreated with items from Amazon:
Apres-Ski
This had to be my favorite outfit of my RTR haul this month. The sweater from Perfect Moment is incredibly fun and the cropped cut makes it flirty even in the cold weather. It is a bit of a splurge, but if you do fall in love with it I wouldn’t blame you for making the investment; however, I recommend going a size up because the sleeves are on the tighter side. The colorful corduroy pants were a step out of my comfort zone with their bright color, but it worked out beautifully!

Winter Workwear
Workwear items are some of my favorites pieces to shop for. I love creating elevated office looks that aren’t stuffy, and this sleeveless blazer helps to do just that. Layers are our friend this time of year, and the sleeveless blazer trend gives us the ammo to liven up our looks with that technique. Petite girlies beware: these tend to run on the longer side. I am 5’4″ and would consider getting this item tailored.

New Year’s Eve
Simple and classic, this black sequin dress has me swooning with its waist ribbon and billowy sleeves. Because it is perfect for New Year’s, I am so happy I found something similar on Amazon to share with you! Though I paired the dress with my favorite Pratesi leather handbag I found in Italy a couple years ago, I couldn’t find an exact match on Amazon. The same brand and style of bag is available in a beautiful deep red which is perfect for this autumn/winter season. The Cavallino handbag does not have a lot of reviews on Amazon and is definitely a splurge; however, I have never seen another bag like it and the quality is premium!

Here’s A Toast
This month’s Rent the Runway haul and its amazon recreations were a blast to put together. Winter is certainly the best time of year for fashion in my opinion. Looking forward to seeing what January brings!
